
Introduction to Animal Osteopathy

Is the course translated? Yes – by a local assistant
Who can attend? Osteopaths, vets, physiotherapists, vet nurses and other professional therapists.
Can I attend one day only: Yes, but the price is the same, due to the overheads of the workshop.
Will I get to work on animals? Yes, under supervision.
Can I work on animals in clinical practice after the workshop? No, successful training as an Animal Osteopath takes in excess of two-years (part-time) even if you come from a therapeutic background. See our website for more details.
Price: 399€ + VAT if applicable
Will I get a CPD certificate: Yes – you will be issued with a digital attendance certificate if you complete both days. However, this is not a qualification, but rather an introduction to future studies if the student is interested.

Handling and palpation of animals in a clinical setting
Anatomical landmarks
Anatomical surface anatomy
The skeleton – axial and appendicular skeleton
The muscular system – an overview
Gait analysis and key features of movement
Introduction to global and local assessment
Introduction to osteopathic treatment
Clinical and professional considerations when working with animals.
