Certified Pathway – Functional Osteopathy for the Equine Patient

Our level one programme is the fundamental building block of all our practitioner level equine programmes and aims to offer practitioners a robust baseline knowledge from which to grow as a equine therapist. Successful completion and comprehension of the content will give practitioners all they need to enter our Level II equine courses with confidence. The MCP pathway is validated by the European School of Osteopathy.

Release dates of the ONLINE modules: The release of the equine modules will commence as soon as the student has been accepted and their payment has been received.  As students must first complete all 16 modules of the programme and the 6 on-demand webinars, the first practicum dates that students from this course can attend will be Autumn 2021. This will be run in-line with our Canine Level One programme (for students who wish to do both practicums together). We are working tirelessly to ensure that COVID does not disrupt your learning, so please feel rest assured that we will get you through your training as quickly as possible.

Practicums typically take place in April/May/June and September/October/November. The OEI Pathway students will run alongside and with the MCP students, so that if they wish to add the practicum to their pathway of learning, they may do so, if there is space. All students who attend a practicum, must do so in one single event of 3-4 days (see further notes on the course page about this). If you do not want to pay for the practical events up front, you can always sign up for the online enhanced pathway and pay for your practicum before you attend. Please note however, that MCP students do get first refusal on dates, as we only allow a maximum of 18 students per practical event.

The online aspect of the course typically takes around 8 months to complete but to allow for life’s curve balls and COVID challenges, you are given a full 24 months. This means you three times what you need to ensure that you can study online and attend a practicum.
