The programme is developed for part-time learning and equates to 1200 hours of total learning (in line with UK Academic Level 6 & 7) , meaning that you deep dive into all the topics you need to become a safe and competent practitioner. You will also master clinical criticality, self-reflection and business communications, which are so important in today’s litigious society.

Successful completion and comprehension of the content will give you everything you ned to practice with confidence.

Year one offers practitioners who are new to canine osteopathy a robust baseline knowledge from which to move into the year two.. With the theoretical element being taught online and a consolidated 5-day practicum taken circa 7 months after the start date. 

Year two offers an opportunity to consolidate year one’s learning, whilst enhancing the practitioners assessment skills and range of techniques. This give each student a solid foundation in functional osteopathic therapy, so that they can assess and treat a wide range of maladies, safely and competently. The theoretical element of year two is also taught online and a consolidated 12-day practicum and clinical review is taken circa 7 months after the start date.
